Nipomo Family Dentistry Helping Others
We first met at church almost 15 years ago and became instant friends. We have always shared a passion for learning, service, and being part of a larger community. If there is a school function or community project that you would like us to participate in, please do not hesitate to ask. We have amazing patients who participate in many activities, and we would like to support our patients in whatever way we can. We have helped out with the Assistance League of SLO, Prado Day Center, Easter Seals, The Boys and Girls Clubs, Kiwanis, The Lions Club, Michael Chang Tennis Club, and various Boy and Girl Scout troops. Some of our patients have made their own hygiene kits to send abroad and we have gone to local schools to do screenings. So whatever your project is, we are eager to participate!
Part of what makes us who we are is also providing dentistry to communities that have no access to care. One way we have accomplished that is by going on mission trips. Christina has been to Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras, Papua New Guina, and Haiti. Douglas has been to Chad, Philippines, Belize, Honduras, Guam, and Peru. In 2014, we actually fulfilled one of our goals of going on a trip together to El Salvador. Thanks for supporting our practice and helping us bring dentistry to some far corners of the world.
